Executive Managment
Eric Watson, Founder & CEO
Mr. Watson oversees all divisions of URH and is primarily responsible for its strategic direction and business development. Mr. Watson's exceptional track record in delivering technology, marketing and management expertise to the real estate development / construction sectors have proven to be a key asset in the company's continued growth. Before founding URH, Mr. Watson was a founder and executive at a Calgary-based software and consulting company. The company now trades publicly on the Toronto Venture Exchange and has achieved revenues in excess of $15 million (annually) and is consistently profitable. Previous to that Mr. Watson acted as an advisor on a variety of high profile projects led by real estate developers, venture capital firms and large energy companies. Mr. Watson has a degree in Geomatics Engineering.
Dave Fior - President & COO
Mr. Fior is responsible for overseeing the key operations of URH. Mr. Fior brings tremendous depth and breadth to the organization in operations, sales and financial facets. For more than a decade prior to joining URH, Mr. Fior held senior management positions in a variety of companies. Mr. Fior was the CIO of a North American network media company and assisted in growing it from a 15-person enterprise to over 300 people with a market value of over $100 million. Most recently he was VP Sales and Marketing in a software technology company achieving significant growth in their client base. Mr. Fior is also a Chartered Accountant.
Bob McKenzie, Senior Executive Advisor
Mr. McKenzie brings a wealth of marketing and entrepreneurial experience to URH. Mr. McKenzie is currently working with various companies in an advisory capacity. He was CEO of a multi-million dollar media company, from July 1999 until November 2000 and a Director from March 1998 to January 2001. Mr. McKenzie became the Executive Vice President of MetroNet Communications Corp. in 1997 and was a Director of MetroNet until its merger with AT&T in 1999 which created several billions of dollars in shareholder value. From January to December 1996, Bob was a consultant and strategic advisor to the CEO of TransCanada PipeLines Limited, prior to which he was President of TransCanada Energy Limited. Bob was a principal of and served as President of Northridge Canada Inc. and as Executive Vice President of Northridge Petroleum Marketing Inc., prior to its sale to TransCanada PipeLines.
George W. Watson, Senior Executive Advisor
George W. Watson is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of TransCanada PipeLines Ltd, one of North America's largest energy companies. Prior to his role of CEO at TransCanada, Mr. Watson also served as Chief Financial Officer for several years. He is currently Chairman of Canadian Spirit Energy and for a period acted as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Esprit Energy. He is currently President and CEO of Critical Control Solutions Inc., a provider of information management and collaborative technology solutions. Mr. Watson has more than 20 years of experience in the oil patch, including positions at Dome Petroleum and as CEO of Intensity Resources Ltd. Mr. Watson sits on the boards of Queens University, TGS REIT, Badger Daylighting Inc., Geodyne Energy Inc. and Network Natural Gas Fund amongst others. Mr. Watson holds a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) degree and MBA from Queens University as well as an A.M.P. from Harvard.
